The benefits of singing are well known: we have been doing it for millennia and it is estimated that currently 2.8 million people are in a choir in the UK.

From plainsong, to Gareth Malone, from madrigals to Rock Choir and from Brahms to Barbershop, so many of us know the joy it can bring. Why not join a choir?

Bedford Sings the following activities in 2026:

• the creation of a youth choir drawn from the 6 Bedford schools

• a Lullaby themed day with the Youth Choir, Tibbs Dementia and the award winning ensemble Lyons Mouth. 21st Nov, Biddenham School

• singing as part of the St Paul’s Christmas Tree Festival, 4th December 1pm
